FREE SEMINAR: Autism and the Gluten Free/Casein Free Diet

Tuesday, March 25, 2008
7:00 - 8:00 pm
AT Des Plaines Public Library
1505 Ellinwood St., Des Plaines, IL

There is a lot of information these days in the media regarding Autism and various treatment strategies. One of the first recommendations a parent of a newly diagnosed child might hear is about dietary modifications. Often overwhelmed, a parent may be confused and fearful of taking this first step. Sally Martin-Ranft of Awakenings Holistic Healing Center, will be discussing the “how and why” of implementing a GF/CF diet. Come learn what you need to know in order to take that next step in the healing process of your child.

The program is presented as part of the "Special Families Need Special Libraries" grant. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library (ISL), a Division of the Office of the Secretary of State, using funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), under the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
